The event is held to create an opportunity for fun and networking, and to get the word out about who we are. This event is also a fund raiser to help our nonprofit group continue to spread financial literacy throughout the state. There are sponsorship opportunities (pdf) as well.
Proceeds will be used to support our numerous undertakings, such as our annual Financial Literacy conference in April, the support of a new online clearinghouse of resources - tools, speakers, lesson plans and other helpful information for North Dakotans to access to learn more about managing their money.
North Dakota Jump$tart is a group of volunteers from various backgrounds coming
together to help North Dakotans of all ages learn to make wise decisions with their
money. Our Coaltion has been working for almost four years to educate our citizens, as well as connect North Dakotans with the people and resources they need to make wise decisions when it comes to saving, investing, credit and more. We visit classrooms, present to civic groups, organize an informational conference for anyone who wants to learn more about money, and so much more. We all work together, pooling our efforts and resources for the good of the state.
In recognition of this effort, as well as to enjoy a little fun in the sun with new and existing friends and colleagues, we hope you will register to join us on August 5!
